Futures Fest: Full of Purpose, Full of Potential
We’re still riding the energy of Futures Festival 2025 and it’s all down to every young person, partner, and exhibitor who brought it to life.
On the 29th of May, we brought together over 120 young people and 45 brilliant exhibitors for a day full of connection, creativity and conversations about what comes next and future pathways. The space was alive with energy, curiosity and ideas – showing what’s possible when people come together with purpose.
From hands-on workshops to honest talks, Futures Fest created space for young people to ask questions, explore opportunities and meet those shaping industries across London and beyond. Whether it was a first step into a career path or a spark of inspiration, the day left its mark – and it’s just the beginning.

highlights of the day
A day that made space for real conversations
From the moment things kicked off, Kheron Gilpin set the tone as our MC for the day, welcoming everyone in, keeping the energy high and making sure the day flowed smoothly. We were also lucky to hear from Ticha Moyo, who gave a talk that was honest, hopeful and full of meaning. He shared his story with care, and it really landed with the young people.
All throughout the day, young people were speaking directly with employers, community groups and support services. They were real conversations about goals, opportunities and what potential pathways are out there.
Performances that brought the day to life
A huge shoutout to our live performers
Each artist brought something unique to the stage and helped shape the atmosphere of the day. The performances added energy, emotion and a real sense of celebration, they were a big part of what made the festival feel special.
Insights from Young People
We asked young people how they felt after the festival, here’s what they said:
That’s why we do this. To create spaces that help people feel clearer, more connected, and more ready to take their next steps.
Built together, supported by community
We want to say a big thank you to Lambeth Made and North Brixton Big Local for helping make the festival happen. Their support meant we could bring everything together — and keep it free and accessible to the people it was for.
And finally, thank you to everyone who showed up — whether you were performing, volunteering, exhibiting, supporting or just taking it all in. Futures Fest is what it is because of you.
We’re proud of what we created together — and we’re already looking forward to what’s next.
