Futures Fest: Full of Purpose, Full of Potential

We’re still feeling the momentum from Futures Festival 2025 and it’s all thanks to everyone who showed up and made it happen.

On the 29th of May, we brought together over 120 young people and 45 brilliant exhibitors for a day full of connection, creativity and conversations about what comes next and future pathways. The space was alive with energy, curiosity and ideas and it showed what’s possible when people come together with purpose.

A day that made space for real conversations

From the moment things kicked off, Kheron Gilpin set the tone as MC — welcoming everyone in, keeping the energy up and making sure the day flowed smoothly. We were also lucky to hear from Ticha Moyo, who gave a talk that was honest, hopeful and full of meaning. She shared her story with care, and it really landed with people.

All throughout the day, young people were speaking directly with employers, community groups and support services. These weren’t just quick chats — they were real conversations about goals, opportunities and what’s actually out there.
