what is the Dimz Inc. Academy ?

Dimz Inc. Academy is a free, week-long creative experience for 18–24-year-olds who want to break into the world of digital media and content creation . Founded by Amelia Dimoldenberg (creator of Chicken Shop Date) and powered by Spiral Skills, this immersive programme will give you the skills, confidence, and connections to take your first step into the broadcasting industry. Get real-world experience as you work with high profile industry professionals, create original content, and go behind the scenes of one of the UK’s most iconic platforms.

The mission: to give young people the tools, resources, and network to kickstart careers in broadcasting, digital media, and the wider creator economy. Spiral Skills is partnering with Dimz Inc. to amplify this vision, co-creating pathways that develop, connect, and empower the next generation of creatives.

- Learn about structure, cuts and audio on accessible software
- Watch it come to life on the big screen
- Deep dive into marketing & content strategy with Dimz Inc. social media lead, Ashleigh Kybert and Head of Culture Marketing at Nandos, Victoria Peacock
- Design a look, vibe + logo for your show
- Learn how to pitch and present it across multimedia channels
- Launch your concept

⏱️ Timings

Workshops will take place from 10am - 3pm each day.

📍 VENUES

Sessions will primarily be based at Oasis St Martins Village, 155 Tulse Hill, London, SW2 3UP. Some days will be in Central London locations which will be confirmed to successful candidates.

🌈 Who Can Take Part?

This programme is for aspiring 18-24 year old London based creatives passionate to get into the broadcasting and digital media industry. We particularly encourage young people from global majority backgrounds and communities underrepresented in the creative industries.

Applicants must complete this short application form and submit a 1 minute video answering the following questions
